CONCIERGE

Guidance for Solutions to Avoid Homelessness

A collective of nonprofit service providers, organizations and businesses working to streamline communication and care for those seeking help with housing or avoiding homelessness.

We work in partnership with local universities, city governments, businesses, organizations, and service providers to help agencies warmly greet and skillfully guide people to the right person and right place as they navigate their journey out of crisis into strength.

WE'RE HELPING FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS...LIKE THOSE REPORTED ON BY BRIAN GOLDSTONE.

“There Is No Place for Us” is a poignant work of journalism that delves into the reality of what it means to be thrust into the unexpected path of homelessness, as Brian reports on the lives of five families in Atlanta struggling to maintain stable housing despite holding full-time jobs. Goldstone’s narrative highlights the unique paradox of the “working homeless,” a term that underscores the growing crisis where individuals and families, despite their hard work, cannot afford basic housing due to skyrocketing rents and stagnant wages. The book paints a vivid picture of their daily struggles, aspirations, and the systemic issues that contribute to their plight.

MORE ON CONCIERGE

This unique public/private initiative was developed to streamline communications for those seeking help with housing and to avoid homelessness. We are currently focused on securing funds to pilot various CONCIERGE projects in Georgia while engaging in dialogue with other communities seeking to partner.
